Catherine Galasso seeks performers for a unique opportunity to participate in her upcoming piece Bring On The Lumière! at Joyce SoHo January 26-28, 2012.
A live re-enactment of “Workers Leaving The Factory” — a famous 52-second film created by the Lumière Brothers in 1895 — will be the grand finale of “Bring On The Lumière!” Performers must be able to participate in at least 2 of the 3 evening performances. Attendance at one 4-hr rehearsal is required, and dress rehearsal is optional. Performers receive a discount code to the performance for friends and family.
